My name is Ray, and I’m a software developer. My specialization is in developing electronic data capture solutions (EDC) for healthcare. I’ve designed, implemented and deployed EDC solutions for clinical trials, real-time data capture in hospital operating rooms, and federally-funded medical research projects. I’m constantly searching for articles, how-tos and other developer experiences about electronic data capture, but very few personal experiences are available online. I’m not sure how this site will evolve, but hopefully it will help those who encounter similar issues.
